She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Lethbridge where she studied analytic philosophy and religious studies. She then went on to achieve her diploma in Visual Art from Red Deer College. Currently she teaches several community art classes in addition to making her own work. Often referencing the natural theatre of wind whipped grasses, turbulent skies or melting ice and snow, I am drawn to imagery that concerns change: growth, erosion, order and disorder. I love that making pottery allows me to work in series, allowing me to fully develop my ideas while giving me the freedom to work on a variety of designs.
