Little Sister Pottery is my collection of ceramics inspired by rhythm, pattern, and landscape- both wild and cultivated. Often referencing the natural theatre of wind whipped grasses, turbulent skies or melting ice and snow, I am drawn to imagery that concerns change: growth, erosion, order and disorder. I love that making pottery allows me to work in series, allowing me to fully develop my ideas while giving me the freedom to work on a variety of designs. As my pots are used throughout daily living I hope that they convey a sense of elegance, but also the wonder and playfulness I feel in making them.
